My reflection
In my opinion, they all have different ways of handling death apart from Islam and Christianity. They both believe in a soul and a second life. Except I prefer Islam because Christianity is too judgmental. But my favourite religion to research for this topic was Judaism. I like the idea of not thinking about death at all and focusing on life, "living in the now", trying not to think about death and just accept it and move on. Although I don't like the way they bury the body-quickly as possible, no coffin if they can help it, and no tombstone. I would want to go and visit them after they're gone and having a tombstone or even just a small plaque would help to remember them. Then again, I also like the Hindu belief of cremation, but I would want the ashes to be kept somewhere, not thrown into a river or a sea. Although I am not religious, so I wouldn't have any of the rituals or singing or chanting, just a small ceremony and the burial in a graveyard or a hill or a beach.
